Chukwueze promises more after grabbing first Serie A goal
Samuel Chukwueze has promised more goals after he netted his first Serie A goal today.
Chukwueze came off the bench late on to fire a sweetly struck goal from the edge of the box and ease the pressure on him as AC Milan beat Hellas Verona 3-1.
It was a fitting response to growing criticisms that he has yet to justify his transfer from Villarreal.
“I am very happy,” he said.
“I just have to stay focused and keep working hard.
“Today’s goal is very important for my confidence.
“I hope to keep scoring.”
