‘Man on Fire’ Onyedika again makes Team of Week

Raphael Onyedika has continued to underline his sparkling form as Club Brugge shoot their way to the Belgian championship.

He was again named in the Voetbalkrant Team of the Week after he helped Club Brugge trounce front runners Genk 4-0 halfway through the Championship Playoffs.

Voetbalkrant praised: “The midfield is where the real stars walk around. With Raphael Onyedika in the lead. The defensive midfielder put his foot in everything and got out of every situation. He made the Genk midfielders crazy.”

The Super Eagles midfielder, who returned from a one-match ban, was one of five Club Brugge players who made the Team of the Week for matchday 5 of the Playoffs.

Their team are now just two points off leaders Anderlecht with five rounds of matches to the end of the Playoffs.
