The son of former Nigeria U23 international Emmanuel Okoduwa, Wesley, could today make history as the youngest ever Wolves player to feature in the Premier League.
It is another youngster with Nigerian roots, Ethan Nwaneri, who is the youngest ever boy to feature in the Premier League.
Nwaneri was 15 years 181 days when he made his Premier League debut for Arsenal at Brentford on September 18, 2022.
Highly-rated right wingback Wesley, 15, was on the bench for Wolves in March against Newcastle.
The Wolves Academy star has already been capped by England U16s and has already been linked to Manchester United.
Okoduwa senior starred at the 2003 African Games hosted by Nigeria.
The former First Bank of Lagos striker played most of professional football in Ukraine.
