UNIBEN Acceptance Fee and Payment Procedure 2025/2026

Candidates who have been offered provisional admission into the University of Benin (UNIBEN) are expected to immediately begin their acceptance process. This is important because it confirms that you are ready to take up the admission offer. Without completing this stage, your admission may not be fully secured.

To pay your acceptance fee, follow the steps below:

  • Visit the official UNIBEN portal at portal.uniben.edu
  • Log in using your JAMB registration number and password
  • Check and confirm your admission status on the portal
  • If admitted, proceed to the acceptance fee payment section
  • Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) payment invoice
  • Choose your preferred payment method (online payment or bank payment via Remita)
  • Pay using ATM card or visit any commercial bank to complete payment
  • Wait for payment confirmation to reflect on your portal dashboard
  • Log in again to confirm that your payment status shows “Paid.”
  • Print your acceptance fee receipt for record-keeping and clearance purposes

If you have been offered admission, make sure you accept it immediately and complete your acceptance fee payment within the stipulated time. This is very important because failure to do so within the deadline may lead to forfeiture of the admission offer.

Candidates should also ensure they complete all further registration and clearance processes as directed by the university without delay.

Share this update with other candidates who applied for UNIBEN so they can also confirm their admission status on time. If you have any questions or need clarification, feel free to drop them in the comments section.
