Candidates who have been offered admission are advised to proceed immediately with the registration process.
On JAMB CAPS
Candidates can also confirm their admission status through the JAMB CAPS portal by following these steps:
- Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Log in with your registered email address and password
- Click on “Check Admission Status”
- Select “Access My CAPS”
- Click on “Admission Status”
You will see whether you have been offered admission or not.
Candidates who have been offered admission should click on ACCEPT or REJECT to confirm their admission offer. They can also send ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.
Registration Procedure for Newly Admitted Students (PLASU 2025/2026)
After confirming admission, successful candidates are required to follow the registration procedure carefully as outlined by Plateau State University, Bokkos (PLASU). All instructions must be strictly followed to complete the clearance and registration process.
Acceptance and Medical Screening Payment
- Admitted candidates are required to pay an acceptance fee of ₦30,000 and a medical screening fee of ₦3,000, making a total of ₦33,000.
- This payment must be made strictly by generating an RRR through https://postutme.plasu.edu.ng and completing payment via any of the approved Remita channels.

Medical Screening
- After payment, candidates are to proceed to the University Clinic with their payment receipt to undergo medical screening. Upon completion, they will be issued a Certificate of Fitness.
Central Registration and Document Verification
Candidates are to proceed to the Central Registration Officer in the Academic Affairs Division for clearance. They must present evidence of payment along with the following documents:
- JAMB UTME or Direct Entry slip
- Original O’Level result or qualification (DE candidates)
- Birth certificate or age declaration
- Indigene certificate
- Two recent passport photographs
- Medical report from the University Clinic
- WAEC/NECO scratch card for result verification
- Printed student biodata form (from the portal after approval)
Faculty Clearance
- After central verification, candidates are to proceed to their respective faculties where the Faculty Registration Officer will review and clear their academic documents.
Tuition Fee Payment and Course Registration
- Once cleared, candidates are expected to proceed to pay their tuition fees via https://students.plasu.edu.ng/.
- New students should log in using the same username and password created during their application.
- After payment activation by the Bursary, students can log in again to generate their matriculation number and proceed with course registration.
Accommodation and Student Dues
- At this stage, candidates may also apply for hostel accommodation, which is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. All students are required to pay the Students Union Government (SUG) dues of ₦1,000 into the designated UBA account (2062903163) or pay at the SUG office and submit proof of payment during registration.
Final Clearance and Documentation
Candidates are required to return to the Central Registration Officer with all photocopies of documents, payment receipts, and completed forms for final file opening. This includes:
- Tuition fee receipt
- Course registration form
- Student information form
- Clearance slip
- SUG payment receipt
- Two passport photographs
The candidate’s name will then be officially entered into the registration record.
Additional Student Processes
After registration, students are required to:
- Report to the Students’ Affairs Directorate for accommodation processing and the student handbook
