Osimhen not Barcelona coach favourite player
Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez has overlooked Victor Osimhen ahead of tonight’s UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second leg clash against the Serie A champions.
Osimhen and Georgian electric winger Kvicha Kvarastkhelia were the main reasons Napoli were crowned champions of Italy last season, but the Barcelona boss picked another player as his favourite on the Serie A side
“The one player I like most from Napoli? Lobotka. I think he has a good enough level to play for a club like Barça,” Xavi said in a pre-match press conference as per GFNS.
Osimhen, who scored the equaliser in Napoli’s 1-1 draw with Barçelona in Naples three weeks ago, now has the chance to prove himself to Xavi.
