Chuba Akpom double keeps Ajax Champions League hopes alive
Ajax UEFA Champions League hopes are alive after Chuba Akpom scored twice in a 3-1 win over hosts FC Zwolle.
Akpom, who has pledged his international future to Nigeria, netted his first in the 24th minute, before he completed his brace late for the Eredivisile perrenial champions.
Akpom has now netted nine times for Ajax this season in 19 appearances.
Ajax are now fifth on the table with 42 points from 27 games after a horrible start this season.
