NPFL Roundup: Katsina United leave it late to deny relegation-troubled Heartland victory

Today, relegation-troubled Heartland were denied a massive win on the road very late on by home team Katsina United in an NPFL Week 24 clash.

The Owerri club travelled all the way to the Mohammed Dikko Stadium in Katsina to take on Katsina United.

Rivers United, coming off the back of securing their quarterfinal ticket in the CAF Confederation Cup, shared the spoils with Kano Pillars at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

Kano Pillars took the lead in the 22nd minute through Abba Sunday, but Sunday Williams controversial goal in the 65th minute ensured the game on equal pegging.
