NPFL Player of Week 32: Sikiru Alimi steps up in goals race

Remo Stars striker Sikiru Alimi is the NPFL Player of Week 32.

He scored his 14th goal of the campaign after his brace in a 3-0 home win over Niger Tornadoes.

The former CHAN Eagles star is now joint leading scorer of the league with Chijioke Mbaoma of Enyimba, who scored his seventh penalty goal in a 2-0 home win over Katsina United.

Besides his goals against Tornadoes, Alimi was outstanding with his overall play and class.

His consistency in front of goal has given his club hope they will be back playing on the continent again.

Remo Stars are third in the standings with 53 points, four points shy of table toppers Enugu Rangers.
