Officials have told SCORENigeria that the NFF will finally make public the new coach of the Super Eagles in the coming days.
“The announcement of a new coach (for the Super Eagles) is imminent, it could be tomorrow or the next day,” one official reported Tuesday.
“It is anytime from now.”
It was further gathered that the trip of NFF president Ibrahim Gusau to France may also not be unconnected with the employment of a coach for the Super Eagles.
It is believed that he may now have reached an agreement with one of the shortlisted coaches.
The NFF technical committee has already proposed a foreign coach be hired if the football federation can afford him.
However, the often broke NFF have encountered difficulties paying expatriate coaches as and when due on account of their poor finances.
