Maduka Okoye is Player of the Month

Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has confirmed his new-found form after he was named Player of the Month by his Serie A club Udinese.

The 24-year-old Super Eagles shot stopper played four Serie A games in the month under review, keeping clean sheets against Juventus and Monza.

Altogether he has made 12 appearances in Serie A for his club this season.

Okoye should now be in line for a return to the Super Eagles, where Stanley Nwabali cemented his place as No 1 after his heroics at the recent AFCON.
