Is there plot in high places for South Africa to qualify for Olympics ahead of Super Falcons?

Officials have alleged there is a plot from top places to “assist” South Africa qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympics at the expense of the Super Falcons.

Several officials told SCORENigeria that part of the plot was the choice of Moroccan referees for the first leg in Abuja.

“The referees made it difficult for the Super Falcons to enjoy home advantage,” one of the officials told only SCORENigeria

“There was a clear case of a red card for a South African player for a professional foul after she was the last player to goal and then illegally stopped a Nigerian player, but the referee decided otherwise.

“Also, for the Super Falcons penalty, it took the referee some time before she awarded it even though it was an obvious fault inside the box.”

“CAF have also appointed North African match officials for the second leg,” he added.

“The rumour is that a top CAF official, who is South African, has promised his country the ticket to the Olympics,” accused another official.

“Let’s wait and see what happens in the return leg in South Africa.”

Nigeria last qualified for the Olympics in 2008.
