Has ex-Flying Eagles striker played last game for Swedish club?

There are serious fears that former Flying Eagles Suleiman Abdullahi may have played last game for top Swedish club IFK Goteborg.

Abdullahi has been battling a long-term knee injury and has yet to play in the new season after he made 17 appearances last season.

SportBladet said Goteborg now fear that the 27-year-old striker may have played his last game for them.

Chief scout Stig Torbjornsen has been criticised for signing the player after his major injury in the German Bundesliga.

Sports director Ola Larsson told SportBladet said they remain hopeful about the player.

“We have to take it step by step,” he said.

“We are not there yet.

“Now it’s about getting ‘Sulle’ training properly.”
