Aribo dramatic match winner in 7-goal thriller
Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo was the dramatic match winner for Southampton to beat Birmingham City 4-3 at the death today.
Aribo came off the bench to fire home from inside the box with virtually the last kick of the game for ‘The Saints’ to improve their chances of a prompt return to the Premier League.
The 27-year-old Aribo has now scored thrice this season in the English Championship.
Southampton are fourth in the standings with 70 points from 35 matches.
They are five points adrift of an automatic promotion spot and eight points behind Championship leaders Leicester City.
