What now becomes of troubled star Amoo?

The future of former Golden Eaglets star Akinkunmi Amoo is certainly hanging in the balance after he mutually terminated his three-year contract with Cypriot club Omonia Nicosia.

One-time Super Eagles invitee Amoo, 21, failed to score in six appearances in six months for Omonia Nicosia.

His future at the Cypriot club was plunged into a major doubt after Swedish sports director Jesper Jansson was sacked recently.

That was the man who brought him to Cyprus after his legal problems in Denmark over alleged rape.

Top Danish club FC Copenhagen splashed around Three Million Euros to sign him from Swedish club Hammarby.

However, they agreed to let him go for free with an arrangement to get a percentage of his subsequent transfer.
