Barcelona have identified Victor Osimhen as a direct replacement for the ageing Robert Lewandowski, but various reports have now suggested that the Catalan giants may struggle to meet up his release clause of 75 Million Euros.
Corriere dello Sport reported Barcelona interest for the 26-year-old striker, but also quickly added that the top Spanish club would want a significant reduction of the player’s release clause.
The newspaper said Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has been impressed with dynamism of the Super Eagles striker.
“The valuation (75 Million Euros) leaves Barcelona in a spot of bother amid the never-ending financial issues,” further reported hardtackle.com
