Victor Boniface shoots down summer transfer

Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has ruled out a transfer away from high-riding Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

Victor Boniface, 23, has attracted a lot of interest across Europe after playing a majot role in a historic campaign for Leverkusen.

Serie A giants Juventus as well as a clutch of Premier League clubs have been associated with the exciting forward.

However, he has now maintained he does not plan to quit the newly-crowned Bundesliga champions soon.

“My current focus is solely on Leverkusen, striving to help the team achieve more milestones,” he told AFP

“It will undoubtedly stand as one of my proudest moments ever.”

On Thursday, Leverkusen take on AS Roma in the Europa League semifinal first leg in Italy.
