Victor Boniface pumped up for Bundesliga return

After being out of action since the beginning of this year, Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has now declared he is fully fit to return to action after an injury layoff.

Boniface, as earlier stated by Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso, could feature in Saturday’s Bundesliga game against Hoffenheim.

The 23-year-old striker, who had already got 16 goals and eight assists in 23 games before his injury on national team duty, has stated that he really missed football and is ready to return once again.

He told SportBild: “Of course, goals and assists are important, but the most important thing for me is to be able to help the team with my style of play and simply have fun.

“I really miss being on the pitch with my teammates.”
