Victor Boniface comeback on track as he resumes training
Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has taken a big step towards a return to action for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen as he begun light training.
The player himself posted on X photos of him in individual training.
He is due back to full action by the end of the month after he underwent surgery in January for a major groin injury while training with the Super Eagles in Dubai ahead of the AFCON.
He netted 10 goals in 16 appearances in the Bundesliga before his injury.
His club are seven points clear at the top of the table ahead of defending champions Bayern Munich.
