Title chase, relegation battles mark resumption of NPFL

NPFL action will resume today after a break to allow for Rivers United to play their outstanding games and for President Federation Cup matches to also be played.

Week 33 matches will see the race for the championship intensify between leaders Enugu Rangers and front runners Remo Stars and Enyimba, while at the other end of the table Gombe United, Heartland and Sunshine Stars fight to stay up in the top league.

Rangers face Bayelsa United, Rivers United take on Sporting Lagos and it will be another ‘Oriental Derby’ between Abia Warriors and defending champions Enyimba.

Strugglers Heartland are home to bottom club Gombe United, Kwara United welcome high-riding Remo Stars and Plateau United take on Niger Tornadoes in Jos.
