The Super Eagles stars are united in their confidence that they will beat home team Rwanda today to get their 2026 World Cup qualification hopes back on track.
The players said their only target is victory and therefore urged the fans to support them to accomplish this task.
Atalanta star Ademola Lookman said the focus is nothing but victory in Rwanda as well as the ticket to the 2026 World Cup.
“We have heard a lot of meetings with the technical crew, we have keyed into coach’s idea. The feeling in camp is positive, our goal is the World Cup ticket,” said the reigning CAF Player of the Year.
“We thank the fans for always been there for us up till now, we will be needing you with your energy to give us extra power and be our 12th man to drive us more forward.”
In same vein, Bayer Leverkusen hitman Victor Boniface said: “We are looking forward to it, we know how important the game is for us as players and the country. We are looking forward for victory.”
New call-up Igho Ogbu added, “It’s great feeling to represent my country. Everything is good in camp, the welcome was great. We are all working hard and no doubt in our mind to get victory.”
