Super Eagles star Ejuke quits Antwerp

Chidera Ejuke will not extend his stay at Belgian club Antwerp as SCORENigeria understands he is now exploring possibilities in Germany.

The previous season, he played on loan at German club Hertha Berlin.

This past season, Ejuke played on loan at Antwerp from Russian club CSKA Moscow.

His contract with his Russian club will run out this summer and so he will be a free agent.

The dribbling wizard posted some five-star displays towards the end of the season after a tentative start to life in Belgium.

He was conspicuously missing in the closing games of the Championship Playoffs, where Antwerp finished disappointing bottom of the standings.
