Super Eagles new boy Gabriel Osho may miss debut

Luton Town defender Gabriel Osho may not make his Super Eagles debut in friendlies against Ghana and Mali later this month because he is nursing a knee injury.

Central defender Osho has been handed his first-ever call-up by Nigeria after solid outings in the Premier League.

However, injury forced him out of the clash against Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Luton manager Rob Edwards has said Osho has a knock on the knee and so doubtful for his selection.

“Gabe has a nasty knock on his knee, one that has been sore in the past, so we’ll have to see how he is, ” he reported.

The Super Eagles take on Ghana on March 22 and four days later they will be up against Mali in friendlies during the international break.
