Super Eagles fly directly to Rwanda for crucial World Cup qualifier

The Super Eagles stars will fly directly to Kigali, Rwanda, from their various bases for a crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier next month, as was the case in November when they did so to Abidjan for a 2025 AFCON qualifying tie.

The international break is from March 17 to 25 and so the team must make every day count, a top official told SCORENigeria

“They will as best get only two, three training sessions under the new coach before the match against Rwanda and so it is important that all invited players report promptly in Kigall,” the official disclosed.

“Thankfully, Kigali is a popular international destination and as such there should be no flight hitches for the players.”

Rwanda will host the Super Eagles on March 21 and four days later Nigeria will take on Zimbabwe in Uyo in another World Cup clash.
