Sunday Ocheche scores first goal in Spain
Highly promising defender Sunday Ocheche today scored his first goal in Spain for Velez CF in a 2-2 home draw with Yelcano Deportivo.
It was an important point for Malaga-based Velez against the second placed team in the league.
The tall central defender rose above the opposing defence to power home a header and restore his club’s lead in the game.
Oche was also solid in defence and unbeatable in the air to ensure his team got a result on the day.
He has enjoyed regular game time this season after a major re-organisation at Velez CF.
