Sevilla flying winger Chidera Ejuke may have been overlooked by the Super Eagles for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, but he has backed the team to win against Rwanda and Zimbabwe:
The tricky winger reasoned that Nigeria is blessed with top talent and believes the Super Eagles will turn the corner in World Cup qualification in these two matches.
“We have a lot of players in Nigeria, and believe me, at the end of the day it’s the coach’s decision, and he knows what he’s doing,” he said.
“So, for me, if I get the opportunity to go there, I’ll always be happy to represent my country.
“I wish the boys the best and, obviously, I’ll be watching as well, and I hope they win the matches.”
The Super Eagles are away to Rwanda on Friday, March 21, before they battle Zimbabwe in Uyo four days later.
