Rwanda German coach Torsten Spittler has said his team’s mission in Nigeria is very clear – beat Super Eagles today to qualify for the 2025 AFCON.
Rwanda are third in Group D with five points, two points behind Benin, who are away to Libya today.
“We have to win to go to the AFCON, that’s our mission,” the Rwanda coach said.
“We are here for the three points, we will fight until the last minute.
“We played a good match in Kigali (0-0 with Super Eagles in September).
“It will be a tough and interesting match.”
Incidentally, both teams will clash again in Kigali when the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament resumes in March.
