Reports: Osimhen transfer to PSG far from done deal

French media outlets have reported that a transfer by Victor Osimhen to PSG is far from close as no agreement has been reached between the parties.

Osimhen is regarded as the No 1 target to replace Kylian Mbappe, who is most likely to leave for Real Madrid this summer.

RMC Sport and Foot Mercato said Osimhen is open to this transfer, but nothing has yet been agreed with either the player or his representatives.

Reports: Osimhen transfer to PSG far from done deal

This week, Italian publication II Mattino said PSG will meet the buyout clause on Osimhen’s Napoli contract, which is put at a staggering 130 Million Euros.

It further reported that the French Ligue 1 perennial champions will offer the 25-year-old striker a bumper annual salary of 13 Million Euros, which is in excess of what he currently earns at Napoli.

He has also been linked with several top Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal.

This season, Osimhen has scored 12 goals and made three assists in 19 Serie A appearances for Napoli.
