Raphael Onyedikaβs Club Brugge not only created a huge sensation when they eliminated Atalanta from the UEFA Champions, but the Belgian champions will also be smiling all the way to the bank on the back of this shock result.
Club Brugge have already received almost 50 Million Euros for reaching the Champions League playoffs.
They will now receive an additional 11 Million Euros for getting to the Round of 16 of the competition, where they will face either Aston Villa or Lille.
This is the first time in history that a Belgian club have won such cash prize in a European competition.
