Onuachu shoots Trabzonspor to Turkish Cup Final but at huge cost
Trabzonspor are through to their 16th Turkish Cup final thanks in part to a goal by Paul Onuachu, but the Super Eagles striker will later be forced out of the semifinal due to injury.
Onuachu gave his club the lead against Fatih Karagumruk after 54 minutes.
He was then injured three minutes later during an aerial clash.
The big striker has only just returned from injury.
Trabzonspor won 4-0 after they were ordered to play a rematch of the first game, which they won 3-2.
They will now battle Besiktas in the cup final as they aim for their 10th triumph.
They last won the cup competition in the 2019-2020 season.
