Nwabali reveals club he wishes to play for

Speculations were rife about the future of Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali will quit South African side Chippa United last summer, but he has since extended his contract with the Port Elizabeth club.

Nwabali became one in the spot light after his impressive performance at the African Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire earlier this year, making him a prime subject of discussion for a transfer.

He has now named the South African club he would want to play for.

“To be honest, Kaizer Chiefs is the club I really want to play [for] in South Africa, it’s the kind of club I wanted to play [for] with all my heart,” he told Metro FM

“I won’t say I’ve been supporting them but this is the club I felt like I want to play [for].

“The Rwanda guy [Ntwari] is doing really well, I won’t take that away from him but Kaizer Chiefs was the club among the whole clubs in South Africa I felt like to go to.”
