NPFL Goal King Nwankwo scores first goal for Swedish club
Silas Nwankwo scored his first goal in the new season for Swedish club Mjallby as they drew 1-1 at home with Brommapojkarna.
The former Nasarawa United star striker opened the scoring in the 19th minute for the hosts.
He was replaced in the 61st minute with Alexander Johansson.
His club are fourth on the table with 11 points from seven matches.
The 2020/2021 Nigerian Premier League highest goal scorer joined the Swedish club in 2022.
He missed most of last season to injury, while he netted eight times in his debut season two years ago.
