The NFF executive committee has tasked the Super Eagles to beat Rwanda and Zimbabwe to boost the country’s hopes of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The Super Eagles will face Rwanda in Kigali Friday evening before they welcome Zimbabwe to Uyo on Tuesday, March 25.
They are second bottom of Group C with three points from four matches, while Rwanda top the group with seven points and Zimbabwe are bottom on two points.
“The executive committee charged the players to go all out for the six points in both matches to boost Nigeria’s qualification hopes,” the NFF communiqué read in part.
“It also called on all Nigerians to support and encourage the team in whatever fair and proper way they are competent to, in order to guarantee victory in both matches.”
The NFF said they have provided the team with general support to fly high.
