Ndidi, Awoniyi back to Super Eagles after AFCON no-show

Wilfred Ndidi and Taiwo Awoniyi, who missed out on the recent 2023 AFCON due to injury, have been recalled by the Super Eagles for friendlies against Ghana and Mali later this month.

Cyriel Dessers, Jamilu Collins and Tyronne Ebuehi have also been given another chance with the team.

Uncapped players called up are Luton Town defender Gabriel Osho and Benjamin Tanimu, who is now based in Tanzania.

Otherwise, the core of the squad who reached the AFCON Final last month will feature in the friendlies between March 22 and 26 in Marrakesh, Morocco.
