Napoli sports director Giovanni Manna has admitted that Victor Osimhen’s transfer situation is currently “blocked” and he cannot speak on talks with Chelsea or PSG as it concerns the striker.
“Osimhen? The situation is currently blocked,” Manna told Sky Sport.
“He wants to leave but I can’t give any feeling on PSG or Chelsea… we’re now trying to find a solution with his camp.”
This comes after Napoli suffered a 3-0 thrashing at Verona on the opening day of the Serie A season.
Reports still said Osimhen’s preference remains PSG.
Top Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that PSG are now paying a closer attention on Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman.
PSG have stepped up their talks with Lookman’s entourage, while his club Atalanta are unhappy after he told them he wishes to leave.
The French champions are yet to table a formal bid for the forward, though.
He was not included in squad for Atalanta opening Serie A clash of the new season.
