Mystery NPFL goalkeeper gets Super Eagles chance

SCORENigeria has scooped that a goalkeeper from the NPFL will make the 23-man Super Eagles squad for must-win 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

The identity of this shot stopper is yet to be known but he will be the third choice behind Stanley Nwabali and Amas Obasogie.

Speculations are around CHAN Eagles and Enyimba No 1 Henry Ani Ozoemena and Mustapha Lawal of Shooting Stars.

Invitations have already been sent out by the NFF to the players for the World Cup ties.

Nigeria are away to Rwanda on March 21, before they tackle Zimbabwe in Uyo on March 25.
