Eligibility Criteria for MTN Scholarships 2026

- Medical students in their 300 level moving to 400 level or currently in 400 level are also qualified.
For the SBS programme:

- However, blind students studying Law are only eligible from 300 level due to the programme duration.
D. Academic Performance (CGPA Requirement)
Applicants must meet the minimum academic standards for their institution type:
For STS applicants:-
- University and College of Education students must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 3.5 on a 5.0 scale, equivalent to a Second Class Upper.
- Polytechnic students must possess at least a 3.0 CGPA or Upper Credit at OND level, and must have gained admission into HND.
- Direct Entry candidates must also have a minimum of 3.0 CGPA (Upper Credit) from OND and be admitted into 300 level in a public university.
- Medical students are required to have at least a pass grade or its equivalent.
For SBS applicants:-
- University and College of Education students must have a minimum CGPA of 2.5.
- Polytechnic students must have a minimum CGPA of 2.0 at OND level and must proceed to HND.
