It is becoming increasingly likely that Manu Garba may have returned to his former post as head coach of the Golden Eaglets with Nduka Ugbade his assistant despite opposition by the NFF technical committee.
Former Flamingoes coach Bala Nkiyu has also been proposed as the second assistant.
A member of the NFF technical committee told SCORENigeria he is not aware of these appointments.
Further investigations showed that the inner circle of the NFF president is responsible for these appointments.
Already, Manu has set up a screening camp in Abuja and has extended invitations to several players across the country.
Manu Garba has been involved with the Eaglets since 2005.
He assisted late Yemi Tella to win the 2007 FIFA U17 World Cup in Korea, before he led the same team to win a fourth U17 World Cup in 2013 in Abu Dhabi.
Ugbade, a long-term assistant to Manu, was in charge of the team last year when they failed to qualify for the World Cup.
