Yusra Khadija Sanusi, daughter of Emir Sanusi, celebrated her union with her chosen partner from Kwara State in a spectacular celebration in Kano on April 18th, 2024.
The couple’s entrance was captured in a video, showcasing them gracefully walking together, their expressions reflecting a deep, peaceful happiness.

Emir Sanusi gives out daughter at wedding
Prior to the wedding, the groom, who is of Fulani and Yoruba descent from Kwara State, had formally engaged with the bride’s family for an introductory visit the previous month, as shown by @khalifa_muhammad_sanusi.

Emir Sanusi weeps as he pays tribute to Wigwe
Meanwhile, TheTalk.NG earlier reported that on the evening of March 6th, Muhammadu Sanusi II, the former Emir of Kano, shed tears as he delivered a heartfelt eulogy to Herbert Wigwe, the recently deceased Group Managing Director (GMD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Access Bank Plc.
Wigwe tragically lost his life along with five others on February 9th, 2024, when their helicopter met with an accident near Nipton, California, in the USA.
The 14th Emir spoke to a gathering of bereaved individuals in Lagos at the memorial service for the esteemed financier.
