• The Lagos state House of Assembly has urged the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to call together a meeting of stakeholders on the prevailing issue of economic crisis
• The lawmakers said the state and the country are at the lowest of lows, and the proposed meeting of concerned individuals will help proffer solutions to end the nationwide tribulation
• The lawmakers bemoan the hike to the cost of products like cement and iron, which are produced locally and should not have been affected by forex crisis

“The most unfortunate thing about it has to do with the comments coming from some leaders of the country. Instead of using their wisdom to appeal to the people, they use their words to incite people against the government as if they have not been in the country before now,” he said.
