Alex Iwobi has revealed that Fulham and Super Eagles teammate Calvin Bassey was disappointed with the goal Nottingham Forest scored against the London club.
On-form striker Chris Woods strike came off Bassey for Forest to go ahead in this Premier League clash.
“Calvin was a bit down at the way Forest scored their goal,” said Iwobi.
“However, for him to respond and score like that, everyone got behind him and we’re so happy for him.”
Bassey will eventually be the match winner with his headed goal for Fulham to win 2-1 against the high-flying Forest.
Iwobi also said they are dreaming of playing in Europe again.
“We’re all very ambitious and we take things step by step. It’s (European qualification) definitely in the back of our minds,” he said.
