EXCLUSIVE: Eric Chelle draws up list of new players for Super Eagles

SCORENigeria has scooped on a long list of players coach Eric Chelle is now considering to work with in the Super Eagles in the not too distant future.

Most of players on this list are young and the coach believes they will be the future of the Super Eagles.

 They include Ethan Nwaneri (17, winger, Arsenal), George Ilenikhena (18, striker, AS Monaco), Victor Udoh (19, winger, Southampton), Ahmed Abdullahi (20, striker, Sunderland) and Kazeem Olaigbe (22, winger, Rennes).

Others are Ebenezer Akinsanmiro (20, midfielder, Inter Milan), Samuel Edozie (21, winger, Anderlecht) and Tino Anjorin (23, midfielder, Empoli).

Some of these players would have to formally apply to change their international eligibility.

SCORENigeria further learnt the coach is favourably disposed to given Lille new striker Chuba Akpom as well as Josh Maja of West Bromwich Albion another chance with the national team.

Akpom has changed his international allegiance from England for several years now, while Maja, also a striker, has already been capped once by the Super Eagles.

Eric Chelle has in addition shown serious interest in Newcastle winger Jacob Murphy.

The father of the 29-year-old winger is Nigerian.
