Rave-of-the-moment Ademola Lookman will be late to the Super Eagles training camp in Uyo because his Italian club Atalanta will play a rescheduled Serie A game at home against Fiorentina Sunday.
The Super Eagles will open camp this weekend and the earliest Ademola Lookman will be in Uyo will be Monday.
On Friday, they welcome Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier.
Ademola Lookman, 26, rewrote history when he became the first player to score a hat-trick in a Europa League final as Atalanta won their first major European trophy.
He fired five goals in the Europa League and has doubled that figure in Serie A.
A hat-trick Sunday against Fiorentina will see him match his Serie A goals’ haul of last season, when netted 13 goals.
