Enyimba pull back title challengers Rivers United as home teams win

Enyimba pipped Rivers United 1-0 to pull back the title challenge of the Port Harcourt just as there were home wins for Sunshine Stars, Kano Pillars, Kwara United and Plateau United today.

CHAN Eagles defender Imo Obot was the match winner for Enyimba to beat visiting Rivers United.

He got the match winner after 41 minutes.

Rivers United remain third in the standings with 38 points from 24 matches, while Enyimba are 10th on 34 points.

Kano Pillars edged past Abia Warriors by the odd goal, Matthew Samuel was the match winner for Sunshine Stars against Akwa United, while Kwara United defeated Bayelsa United 1-0 and Plateau United were 2-0 winners over El Kanemi Warriors. Nsarawa United were held to a scoreless draw at home by Ikorodu City, while Lobi Stars shared the spoils with Katsina United.
