Enugu Rangers coach insists remaining games cup finals

Coach of NPFL leaders Enugu Rangers, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has maintained his club will play their remaining five games like cup finals.

‘The Flying Antelopes’ are top of the table with 60 points from 33 matches after they trounced Bayelsa United 3-0 Sunday.

“We shall approach our next set of matches like cup finals as the season is getting tougher by every week,” he said.

Rangers will next be guests of Sporting Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos on June 2, 2024.

Ilechukwu also commented on the big home win over Bayelsa United.

“It was a good game with a good result from my boys,” he remarked.

“It would have been more embarrassing for our opponents had we been able to convert begging chances but we keep working till the end of the season to ensure we realize our set target.

“Bayelsa United were challenging, but we came prepared for all of their antics and thank God for His grace as we won by a good margin.”
