Elijah Adebayo goal keeps Premier League survival alive for Luton

Elijah Adebayo excellent equaliser salvaged a 1-1 draw with Everton to only just keep alive their hopes of survival in the Premier League.

The draw for home team Luton Town meant they are now level on 36 points with 17th-placed Nottingham Forest, who though have a game in hand (at relegated Sheffield United later today).

Striker Adebayo collected a high ball on his chest and powered past Ashley Young, before he fired home.

It was the first start since February for the Luton leading scorer after an injury layoff.

He has now scored 10 goals in his first season in the Premier League.

England-born Adebayo has said he wishes to play for the Super Eagles.
