Atletico Madrid reject massive Premier League bid for Omorodion

La Liga giants Atletico Madrid have turned down a massive bid from the Premier League for striker Samu Omorodion.

The 19-year-old striker has scored eight goals in La Liga for Alaves on loan from Atletico.

Diario AS reported that a bid of 45 Million Euros has been received for the young striker, but his release clause is 90 Million Euros and so Atletico want more for him.

This comes as other reports have suggested Omorodion, who was born to Nigerian parents in Spain, will not get his first-team chance at Atletico next season and would most likely be shipped out on another loan.

His contract with the La Liga club is till the summer of 2028.
