Tolu Arokodare has been linked to major transfer to Turkish giants Trabzonspor, but the Genk striker has now joked that he could well be on his way to European champions Real Madrid.
When he was asked about the Trabzonspor transfer rumours, Arokodare joked with Het Laatste Nieuws: “I think I might go to Real Madrid. I hear they are still looking for a second striker next to Mbappé.”
However, on a more serious note he insisted on playing for Genk.
“I have a contract with Genk and am focused on this club, not on rumours. Where do I see my future? I’m not clairvoyant. No idea, man,” he said.
It has been reported that his demand for an annual salary of $2.5 Million could crash a transfer to Trabzonspor.
