Arokodare, Adedeji help out with the festive cheer

Tolu Arokodare and Noah Adedeji were among the players of Belgian club Genk who took time out to help on bringing festive cheer to families.

Adedeji helping out for Christmas as well

The Genk stars came together with the company Vincentius to package fresh meals for families to enjoy during the Christmas holidays.

Arokodare, who is on the Super Eagles radar, has every reason to be cheerful as he is one of the leading scorers in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League with 11 goals thus far.

The striker said his Christian faith has been his strong pillar.

“Praying relaxes me, inspires me, gives me confidence and the feeling that I am protected,” he opened up.

“I do it in the morning, in the evening and before every game. Of course I am focused on playing well, scoring and winning, but I also always ask for protection for all the players and all the supporters of both teams. I pray for their safety.”

Genk are also top of the table going into the New Year.
