Akor ends 6-month goals drought

Jerome Akor has finally ended a goals drought that ran for six months when he scored for Montpellier in a 1-1 home draw with FC Nantes.

Before this goal, the 24-year-old striker last scored in Ligue 1 in October against Toulouse.

He scored after just two minutes Friday against Nantes for his first goal of 2024.

Akor ends 6-month goals drought

The former Flying Eagles striker has now netted eight goals in his first season in the French top league.

Montpellier are 12th on the table with 37 points from 31 matches.

They are still not safe from relegation with three rounds of matches to the end of the season for them.
